What TickTick costs
TickTick has one paid plan and sells it annually. What the free plan gives you is unusually precise — this is an app that counts almost everything, from how many lists you can make to how many attachments you can upload in a day. Everything below is from TickTick’s own upgrade page and App Store listing, read on 2026-08-21.
The two plans
Free
US$0. Lists and Kanban views, natural-language input, task reminders and cross-platform sync.
Premium
US$49.99 a year. TickTick’s page presents this as less than US$4.17 a month, but names no separate monthly plan.
TickTick states a refund policy alongside its plans: purchases made through Google Play, PayPal or Stripe can be refunded within 14 days, and App Store purchases must be refunded through Apple.
TickTick counts almost everything
Most of what separates the two plans is a number. Free first, then Premium:
- Lists: 9 free, 299 on Premium
- Tasks per list: 99 free, 999 on Premium
- Checklist items per task: 19 free, 199 on Premium
- Attachments per day: 1 free; the Premium figure is covered in section 04, where TickTick’s own two sources disagree
- Reminders per task: 2 free, 5 on Premium
- Members you can share a list with: 2 free, 29 on Premium
- Habits: 5 free, 299 on Premium
- Countdowns: 5 free, 299 on Premium
That is more numeric caps than most task apps publish, and it makes the free plan easier to judge in advance than one described only in feature names. It also shapes who runs into it. The free ceilings sit on lists and tasks rather than on features, so someone who keeps a few lists and works them hard may never reach any of them, while someone who opens a new list for every project will meet the first ceiling early.
What Premium adds beyond the counts
Some of what Premium adds is not a raised number. From TickTick’s own pages: multiple calendar views and a grid calendar view, timeline view, task duration, email reminders, custom themes, integrations, a custom smart list, an unlimited Eisenhower matrix, unlimited widgets and unlimited statistics.
Four of those are worth separating out, because they are not absent from the free plan so much as reduced. The calendar view, the Eisenhower matrix, widgets and statistics are all described as basic on the free plan rather than as Premium-only.
TickTick’s own sources disagree on attachments
TickTick’s upgrade page states that Premium allows 199 attachments per day. Its App Store description states that Premium allows up to 99 attachments every day.
Both are the developer’s own published material, and both were read on the same day for this page.
We report the discrepancy rather than pick one. Neither figure is treated as correct here, because nothing published by TickTick settles which of the two is current. If that number matters to how you would use the app, it is worth checking before subscribing.
What we couldn’t determine
- How many attachments a day Premium actually allows, for the reason above
- Whether TickTick sells a monthly plan at all. Its upgrade page names only an annual price and expresses a per-month figure as a comparison, not as a plan
- Whether the in-app subscription price on iOS matches the price on TickTick’s website, which App Store listings do not show
- What TickTick’s AI features include, which its upgrade page lists as a Premium row without describing them

Every figure on this page comes from TickTick’s upgrade page and its App Store listing, both read on 2026-08-21. Prices change, and plan contents change with them — check both pages before relying on any figure here.
One note on where to look. The address ticktick.com/pricing returns a 404; the upgrade page is where the prices live. That is an observation about where the figures are published, and nothing more is read into it here.
